Ames M1852 Foot Officer's Sword.
The blade is not etched and is in near mint condition with the Ames stamp. The scabbard is also marked with the Ames Manufacturing address and retains most of the gilt. However it is almost broken in two about midway and needs an expert repair, and the drag is a reproduction. Nevertheless this is a really collectible sword from the American Civil War seldom encountered in the UK.		 950 details
19th Century Bowie Knife
The blade is 9" long, has no markings and animal horn grips. This type of knife is typical of the ones made for the south during the war. 		275 details
